Congratulations to our 8th grade St. Gregory the Great Catholic School students who competed in the Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy Annual Academic Olympics on Saturday, September 29, 2018. A select team of 8th grade students competed in rigorous testing against other Catholic school students. The competition showcased students’ knowledge in the following subject areas: Art, Computers, English, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Religion, Science, Social Studies and Spanish.

Timothy G. : 1st Place in Social Studies
Max P. : 3rd Place in Mathematics
Inaki G. : 3rd Place in Computer

Each major award recipient received a partial scholarship towards registration fees for Archbishop McCarthy High School. St. Gregory earned 2nd Place in the relay competition. Each participating student received a medal and an Archbishop McCarthy t-shirt. We are extremely proud of our students for their hard work, dedication and commitment in preparing for and representing St. Gregory in this spectacular event!
