Traveling Academic Champion Cup Comes Back to St. Gregory!

On Saturday, September 21st, a select team of 8th graders competed in the Academic Olympics at Archbishop McCarthy High School. St. Gregory placed first overall among participating Miami-Dade and Broward Catholic schools and won the coveted Academic Olympics Traveling Academic Champion Cup Trophy! The competition showcases students’ knowledge in all subject areas.  Several of our students were awarded first, second, and third place overall medals in their respective subjects.

On Thursday, September 19th, St. Gregory School will show our support for our home team, The Miami Dolphins. Students are invited to show their spirit by wearing Miami Dolphin T-shirts, jerseys, or the Miami Dolphin colors of ORANGE AND AQUA. Students may also wear colored socks (orange, aqua) and girls may wear hair accessories. No hats or makeup allowed. All students should wear their PE shorts and sneakers.

Underwriting Opportunities

Our St. Gregory Crusaders are saddling up for our 22nd Annual Walk-a-thon. This year we’ll be hitting the dusty trail as we go

“Walking to the Wild West.” Our Walk-a-thon will take place on Friday, October 18th. This fun-fundraiser belongs to our children and we are honored to know that the monies raised will benefit them in several very special ways. We are proud to announce that, this year, our collaborative efforts will help with many technological enhancements including three iPad carts and software. Each cart holds 30 iPads for the use of all of our students. Additionally, we are financing 15 laptops for all classroom teachers. In addition, each year we also fund the St. Gregory the Great Scholarship for Teacher Enrichment Program (S.T.E.P.). In addition, they will help fund the 8th grade banquet (with 100% mailer participation in the 8th grade). Your support is critical to our success!
