Plus Portals will be the primary means of communication between St. Gregory School and our parents. For example, our school calendar (including letter days and activities) will only be updated on the Plus Portals. St. Gregory Crusaders are getting ready for our 24th Annual Walk-a-thon, “Walking to the Xtreme”. Our Walk-a-thon will take place on Friday, October 23rd, 2015. This fun-fundraiser belongs to the children and we are honored to know that the monies raised will benefit them in several ways. We are proud to announce that our collaborative efforts will help raise money for a new special class for students Pre-K3 to 8th grade, STEAM. Students will be exposed to state of the art technology, robotics and engineering tools and software. STEAM Education allows students to learn through engaging, interactive, virtual; technology based learning fostering a love for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Additionally we are financing our new Multimedia Applications Course. The students will be able to develop technical skills: operating a camera, configuring lighting, filtering sound, and using a green screen. The children will gain skills including public speaking, teamwork, and time management. Every year we also fund the St. Gregory the Great Scholarship for Teacher Enrichment Program (S.T.E.P.). In addition, they will help fund the 8th grade banquet (with 100% mailer participation in the 8th grade).

Please use this PDF calendar for planning purposes, but please keep in mind that any changes to the calendar, including additional dates and events will be reflected on the Plus Portals ONLY.
Plus Portals are a family of interactive web portals for parents, students and teachers. Plus Portals will replace Edline and will serve as the primary tool for communication regarding important calendar dates, homework, grades, testing schedules, and other additional teacher communications. We feel that the Plus Portals will provide St. Gregory School with a “streamlined” all-in-one system for communication. More information will be coming soon!
