Our summer camp theme this year will be “Cruising Crusaders”.

Each themed week includes fun activities, one in-house field trip, and one excursion for K-8 Campers!

Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is Jan. 29 – Feb. 3.

Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is Jan. 29 – Feb. 3. The annual national celebration focuses attention on the good work done by the nation’s Catholic Schools. St. Gregory’s theme for the 2016-2017 school year is “Stay Connected.” In an effort to “stay connected” with the community, St. Gregory students and families will participate in a “Prince II Kings” service campaign during CSW. This non-profit organization provides around the clock (24/7) assistance, including free mentoring and educational support to at-risk youths within the inner city. During CSW, students can help each day by bringing items which will benefit this organization. This collection will enable St. Gregory to provide much needed items to this organization.

The week’s schedule is as follows:

MONDAY 1/30 Used sporting equipment, (football, basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball)

TUESDAY 1/31 School supplies, (composition books, binders, folders, paper)

WEDNESDAY 2/1 Hygiene items, (mouthwash, deodorant, toothpaste, soap, socks, sanitizer)

THURSDAY 2/2 Books (Autobiography- History)

FRIDAY 2/3 Baby supplies, (diapers, wipes, baby shampoo, baby lotion, bibs, pacifiers)

Parish families are also welcome to participate by dropping off items (in the blue bins) located in front of the school office during Catholic Schools Week. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. We look forward to a fantastic Catholic Schools Week!

Open House Was A Success! Next Open House is March 11th, 2017 8AM- 12PM

Thank you for joining us at our Open House on January 22, 2017. It was great to meet the new school families that will be joining us next Fall. If you were unable to attend, our next Open House is March 11th from 8 AM to 12PM. We also have School Tours available year round. School Tour Schedule School tours meet at the Parish Center and begin at 9:00 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier. Tours run from September through May. Pre-School is always on the schedule as is the STEAM Lab, Media Center, Computer Lab, Music Room and Art Studio. Kindergarten is assigned by dates. To reserve a spot, please call the St. Gregory the Great Development Office at (954) 473-8170.

Derby Days Grand Auction, Save the Date: February 25th The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Silent Auction and cocktails/hors d’oeurves. The Live Auction will begin at 8:00 p.m. Derby attire. The evening will be filled with raffles, silent and live auctions including fun prizes like reserved seating for Communion and Confirmation, coveted Church parking spaces, dinners, travel and entertainment packages, plus more! Any parishioners that are interested in coming, please call the Development Office at 954-473- 8170. and we will send you an invitation. Basket donations or large trays are always welcome for the packaging of auction items.
